NOTICE TO BIDDERS FOR
YORKTOWN COMMUNITY SCHOOLS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Board of School Trustees of the Yorktown Community Schools (the “Owner”) will receive sealed bids for the Yorktown High School Reroofing Project. Bids will be accepted at the Yorktown School Corporation Administration Office, 2311 S. Broadway St., Yorktown, Indiana, until 1:30 PM (local time), on November 13, 2025. Bids will be opened and tabulated at that time in the Board Room.
A Mandatory Roof Walk Pre-Bid Meeting is scheduled for Friday, November 7, 2025, at 7:00 AM at the Yorktown High School Front Entrance Office. Full documentation will be handed out at this mandatory roof walk. All bidding and construction shall be in accordance with construction documents prepared by Duro-Last Roofing TIPS Program, which can be only be obtained from the mandatory roof walk date. Prospective bidders will be required to sign in and to show valid ID and business card.
Qualifications for bidders will be distributed at the mandatory roof walk meeting.
The contract will be awarded to the agreed upon most responsive and responsible bidder complying with all local licensing and with the conditions for bidding, provided the bid is reasonable and it is to the best interest of the Yorktown Community Schools to accept it. Yorktown Community Schools reserves the right to reject the bid of any or all bidder in accordance with Indiana Code 36-1-12.
Bids not reaching said office by 1:30 PM on November 13, 2025 will not be opened and will be returned unopened to the original bidder.
