By virtue of and in obedience to a directed to me by the Honorable ASCENSION 23RD JUDICIAL DISTRICT COURT in and for the PARISH OF ASCENSION, State of Louisiana, dated: Wednesday, January 29, 2025, in the above entitled and numbered cause, I shalI proceed to sell at public auction at Governmental Annex 828 South Irma Blvd Gonzales, LA 70737 of which the Civil District Court of the Parish of Ascension is held on WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 3, 2025, at 10:00 AM, to the last and highest bidder for cash, the following described property, to wit:
ONE CERTAIN LOT OF GROUND IN SITUATED IN SAVOIA SUBDIVISION, WHICH SUBDIVISION IS SITUATED AND LYING ON THE RIGHT DESCENDING BANK OF BAYOU LAFOURCHE, IN THE SECOND WARD OF THE PARISH OF ASCENSION, AT ABOUT THREE FOURTHS OF A MILE FROM THE JUNCTION OF SAID BAYOU AND THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER; SAID LOT BEING MORE FULLY SHOWN AND DESCRIBED BY PLATS OF RECORD IN C.0.B. 160, FOLIO 465 AND MADE BY T.J. WEISHAUPT, C.E., DATED NOVEMBER 1961, AND RECORDED UNDER FILE NUMBER 67020 OF THE CLERK OF COURT'S RECORDS OF ASCENSION PARISH, LOUISIANA, AS FOLLOWS: LOT NO. TWELVE (12) IN BLOCK A, FRONTING GARDENIA DRIVE, WHEREON IT HAS A FRONTAGE OF 83 FEET BY A DEPTH BETWEEN PARALLEL LINES OF 115 FEET, SAID LOT NO. 12, BLOCK A, IS BOUNDED IN FRONT BY GARDENIA DRIVE, ON THE REAR BY PROPERTY FORMERLY OF THEO JOSEPH, ET ALS AND NOW BY THE ASCENSION PARISH SCHOOL BOARD, ON THE NORTH SIDE BY LOT NO. 13 AND ON THE SOUTH SIDE BY LOT NO. 11; TOGETHER WITH ALL IMPROVEMENTS THEREON AND THEREUNTO BELONGING SUBJECT TO RESTRICTIONS, SERVITUDES, RIGHTS-OF-WAY AND OUTSTANDING MINERAL RIGHTS OF RECORD AFFECTING THE PROPERTY.
And from the proceeds of said sale to pay petitioner by preference over all other claims, the sum of: ONE HUNDRED SEVENTY EIGHT THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED TWENTY SEVEN DOLLARS AND SIXTY FOUR CENTS ($178,527.64) DOLLARS, along with interest and attorney's fees and all other costs including my own costs and charges.
