NOTICE OF HEARING
EVESHAM PLANNING BOARD
Application Number #P25-16
In compliance with the Zoning Ordinance of Evesham Township, Burlington County, New Jersey, and N.J.S.A. 4:55D-1 et seq., notice is hereby given that a hearing will be held by the Evesham Township Planning Board on the application of Aero Haven Solar, LLC seeking modifications to its Amended Preliminary and Final Major Site Plan. This request was assigned Planning Board Application Number #P25-16. The property is located at located at 450 Kettle Run Road and is known as Block 63 Lot 1 on the Official Tax Map of the Township of Evesham.
The subject property is 46.59 acres in area, lies in Evesham Township's "EP" zoning district and
is a closed landfill. Therefore, the solar facility use is permitted as-of-right pursuant to NJSA 40:55D-66.16. Applicant secured initial approvals in 2019 as Resolution No. PB 19-11 and a solar array was thereafter constructed.
In 2022, the approvals were amended as Resolution 2022-PB-01. This amendment proposed adding additional solar panels on unused areas of the site within the ring road. These new panels were never constructed pending further approvals from the Pinelands Commission and agreements with utilities. With those approvals now received, Applicant desires to build the new panels.
Feedback from utilities and others requires a new interconnection (i.e. the array's point of connection to the utility grid). The prior approvals have an interconnection which runs to the south of the property and through Deerfield Avenue and out to Hopewell Road. The new additional panels will require an interconnection that connects to the northwest of the property to Kettle Run Road. The Evesham Planning Board requires a hearing to grant amendments to the site plan for this newly located interconnection.
Anyone affected by this application may have an opportunity to be heard at the meeting of the Evesham Township Planning Board to be held on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at 7:00 pm at the courtroom of the Evesham Township Municipal Building, 984 Tuckerton Road, Marlton, New Jersey 08053.
