STATE OF INDIANA ) ) SS: COUNTY OF DELAWARE ) BEFORE THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS DELAWARE COUNTY, INDIANA IN RE: PETITION FOR ABDANDONMENT OF USE OF COUNTY HIGHWAY 200 WEST, COMMENCING 860 FEET NORTH OF COUNTY ROAD 400 SOUTH FOR A LENGTH OF 1,760 FEET NORTH TO THE DEAD END AND DELAWARE COUNTY BRIDGE #190, IN DELAWARE COUNTY, INDIANA NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING On November 17, 2025 the Board of Commissioners of Delaware County, Indiana, will hold a public hearing on the matter of a petition to abandon use of a county roadway and bridge that being County Road 200 West, commencing Eight Hundred Sixty (860) feet north of County Road 400 South and the 1.760' of roadway to the dead-end and Bridge #190 that traverses No Name Creek by Delaware County and also those portions of possible right of way related to the bridge. More particularly described below and follows: 1. Petitioner only has a right of way use and not any other ownership interest and Petitioner is a right of way user of that portion of County Road 200 West, commencing Eight Hundred Sixty (860) feet north of County Road 400 South for a length of One Thousand Seven Hundred Sixty (1,760) feet until the dead end of the road as well as Bridge #190 that spans the No Name Creek located in the Monroe Township, Delaware County. 2. The roadway being abandoned is a total length of One Thousand Seven Hundred Sixty (1,760) feet until the dead-end and bridge #190 over no Name Creek. The roadway that is being abandoned starts Eight Hundred Sixty (860) feet north of County Road 400 South, Monroe Township, Delaware County and is not used by traffic and there is no use roadway or the bridge now. 3. Petitioner desires to vacate, as a public roadway and bridge as described above. The public hearing will take place at 9:00 AM. on the 17th day of November, 2025 in the Commissioners Courtroom, Delaware County Building, 3rd Floor, 100 West Main Street, Muncie, Indiana.
