To: James Edward Mitchell, Sr., his heirs, successors, executors, administrators, beneficiaries, or assigns; Leroy Mitchell, his heirs, successors, executors, administrators, beneficiaries, or assigns; Nathaniel Mitchell, Sr., his heirs, successors, executors, administrators, beneficiaries, or assigns; Willie Mitchell Blige, his heirs, successors, executors, administrators, beneficiaries, or assigns; William Mitchell, his heirs, successors, executors, administrators, beneficiaries, or assigns; occupants, and All the World, all other persons known and unknown who claim or might claim adversely, to whom it may concern.
You are hereby notified that the above-styled action seeking to establish title to the within-described property against all the world was filed on October 1, 2024, in the Superior Court of Chatham County, Georgia, Eastern Judicial Circuit, concerning land known and described as follows:
All that certain lot, tract, or parcel of land situate, lying, and being in the City of Savannah, Chatham County, Georgia, and being known on the map or plan of said City as Lot Number Twenty-two (22), Block D, Glen Ward. Said lot is bounded on the north by a lane; on the east by Lot Number Twenty-one (21), said block and ward; on the south by Comer Street; and on the west by Lot Number Twenty-three (23), said block and ward. Known as 1420 Comer Street, Savannah, GA 31415 (PIN 20028 01021).
Pursuant to O.C.G.A. §48-4-45, the named parties should take notice that the right to redeem the property will be foreclosed thirty days from the date of first publication of this notice. The tax deed to which this notice refers is dated June 7, 2022, and is recorded in Deed Book 2866, Page 383, Chatham County, Georgia records. By reason of order for service by publication, entered by said court on the October 28, 2025, you are hereby commanded to be and appear at the Superior Court within thirty (30) days of the date of the order for service by publication to make known your interest in said property, and file your answer, along with any objections to the Petition, defenses or other appearances, with the Clerk of said Court and serve a copy upon Joseph M. Gannam, Petitioner's attorney, whose address is P.O. Box 10085, Savannah, Georgia 31412.
