PUBLIC NOTICE NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING AND CONSIDERATION OF PROPOSED CITY ORDINANCE Notice is hereby given that the City Commission of the City of Daytona Beach Shores, Volusia County, Florida will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, commencing at 6:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as may be heard, at the Shores Community Center at 3000 Bellemead Drive, Daytona Beach Shores, Florida. At the time and place aforementioned, the City Commission will consider upon second and final reading of the following ordinance: ORDINANCE NO. 2025-18 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF DAYTONA BEACH SHORES, FLORIDA RELATING TO CITY BOARDS, COMMISSIONS OR COMMITTEES; PROVIDING FOR THE AMENDMENT OF SECTION 2-8 OF THE CITY CODE OF THE CITY OF DAYTONA BEACH SHORES, ENTITLED "GENERAL PROVISIONS RELATING TO CITY APPOINTED BOARDS, COMMISSIONS AND COMMMITTEES AND APPOINTMENTS"; PROVIDING FOR THE AMENDMENT OF SECTION 14-62 OF THE LAND DEVELOPMENT CODE, ENTITLED "CREATION OF THE PLANNING AND ZONING BOARD"; PROVIDING FOR LEGISLATIVE FINDINGS AND INTENT; PROVIDING FOR PROCESSES AND PROCEDURES; PROVIDING FOR IMPLEMENTING ADMINISTRATIVE ACTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITY FOR IMPLEMENTATION; PROVIDING FOR A SAVINGS PROVISION; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS; PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION AS WELL AS THE CORRECTION OF SCRIVENER'S ERRORS; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
