NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS Notice is hereby given that Sealed Proposals for “Maintenance Projects in Marion County, Ohio in the Scioto River Watershed for years 2026, 2027 & 2028, Project No. 2026-MC Improvements” for the removal of leaning trees, standing dead trees, fallen trees, logs, log jams, and other debris and other work as directed by the Scioto Conservancy District Board will be opened and read aloud for the Board of Directors of the Scioto Conservancy District, at their monthly meeting located at the Ag Credit Office, 1100 E. Center Street, Marion, OH 43302 at 4:30 PM Eastern Standard Time on Monday, November 24, 2025. Bids shall be submitted based upon an hourly rate and shall include a description of the equipment to be employed and number of operators for same. The Maintenance Contract shall be for a three-year term commencing on January 1, 2026, and terminating December 31, 2028. The Maintenance Contract shall contain all the terms and conditions required by the Board of Directors for compliance by the successful contractor. Attention of bidders is called to all the requirements contained in the proposal packet, particularly to various insurance and bonding requirements, various equal opportunity provisions, Minority Business Enterprises, Ohio Products, Equal Employment Opportunities, proof of Workers' Compensation coverage, Evidence of Competency form as provided in the Proposal Packet, and the Specifications and General Conditions. All bidders shall comply with the provisions of the American Disabilities Act of 1990. This is not an Ohio Prevailing Wage Contract. No bidder may withdraw his/her bid within thirty (30) days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
