By virtue of and in obedience to a Writ of SEIZURE AND SALE directed to me by the Honorable 17th JUDICIAL DISTRICT COURT in and for the PARISH OF LAFOURCHE, State of Louisiana, dated: 09/03/25, in the above entitled and numbered cause, I shall proceed to sell at online auction on 12/10/25, beginning at 9:00 a.m., and bids may be entered on the platform having the following electronic address: www.bid4assests/LPSOSheriff to the last and highest bidder for cash, the following described property, to wit:
Property will be sold in as is condition.
A certain piece or portion, together with all the buildings and improvements thereon and all rights, ways, privileges, servitudes, advantages and prescriptions, both liberative an acquisitive thereunto belonging or appertaining, situated in the Town of Thibodaux, Parish of Lafourche, State of Louisiana, which said piece or parcel of ground is a part of Lot #52 on a plan of survey made and executed by James B. Grinnage on May 1, 1842, said piece or parcel of ground is more particularly described on a plan of survey made by J.A. Lovell, C.E., of date August 29, 1938, a white print of which is attached to an Act of Sale from Francis L. Knobloch to Southern Bell Telephone & Telegraph Company, passed before Harvey A. Peltier, Notary Public in and for the Parish of Lafourche, State of Louisiana, on September 28, 1938, registered in the office of the Clerk of Court and ExOfficio Register of Conveyances in and for the Parish of Lafourche in Book 87, folio 272 as "Southern Bell Telephone & Telegraph Company Tract" and said piece or parcel of ground according to said survey begins at a point 254'5" from the corner of West 5th Street and St. Louis Street and measures 50 feet front on St. Louis Street in the direction of West 6th Street and has a depth on the sideline nearest West 5th Street of 149'4" and on the sideline nearest West 6th Street has a first depth of 82'5-1/4" and a second depth of 67'0" and has a width and front on Green Street of 55'0". Said piece or parcel of ground, according to said plan of survey is bounded on the north by the property of Mrs. Harry Boudreaux, on the south by the property of Francis J. Knobloch, now or formerly, on the east by Green Street and on the west by St. Louis Street; subject to restrictions, servitudes, rightsof-way and outstanding mineral rights of record affecting the property.
And from the proceeds of said sale to pay petitioner by preference over all other claims, the sum of $358030.48 DOLLARS, along with interest and attorney’s fees and all other costs including my own costs and charges.
