1.1 PROJECT INFORMATION
A. Notice to Bidders: bidders may submit bids for project as described in this Document. Submit bids according to the Instructions to Bidders.
B. Project Identification: City of Zanesville – Wastewater Treatment Plant – Training and Multimedia Addition
1. Project Location: 1730 Moxahala Avenue, Zanesville, Ohio
C. Owner: City of Zanesville
1. Owner's Representative: Mr. Scott Brown

E. Project Description: Project consists of an approximately 1062 square foot building addition to the administrative building at the Wastewater Treatment Plant.
1. Project cost range is anticipated to be under $590,000.
F. Construction Contract: Bids will be received for the following Work:
1. General Contract – Single Prime (all trades).
1.2 BID SUBMITTAL AND OPENING
A. Owner will receive sealed lump sum bids until the bid time and date at the location given below. Owner will consider bids prepared in compliance with the Instructions to Bidders issued by Owner, and delivered as follows:
1. Bid Date: December 2, 2025 (Tuesday)
2. Bid Time: 2:00 p.m. local time.
3. Location: City of Zanesville City Hall – Public Service Office Room 228; 401 Market Street; Zanesville, Ohio 43701
B. Bids will be thereafter publicly opened and read aloud.
1.3 BID SECURITY
A. Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal, a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid Surety furnished in Bond form, shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after opening of bids. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities
1.4 PREBID MEETING
A. Owner and Architect will conduct a Prebid meeting as indicated below:
1. Meeting Date: November 19, 2025 (Wednesday)
2. Meeting Time: 2:00 p.m. local time.

1.6 TIME OF COMPLETION
A. Successful bidder shall begin the Work on receipt of the Notice to Proceed and shall complete the Work within the Contract Time.
