NOTICE OF SALE OF REAL PROPERTY
FOR NONPAYMENT OF 2024 TAXES
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT I, Diane Holden, Collector of Taxes of the Borough of Haworth in the County of Bergen and State of New Jersey, pursuant to the Statute in such case made and provided, will on: FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 14, 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Borough Hall, 300 Haworth Avenue, in said taxing district expose for sale and sell the several tracts and parcels of land hereinafter specified to make the amount chargeable against such lands respectively as of November 14, 2025, together with interest to such date and the Cost of Sale. The said lands will be struck off and sold to such persons as will purchase the same, subject to redemption at the lowest rate of interest, but in no case in excess of 18% per annum. Payment for the sale shall be made before the conclusion of the sale or the property will be resold. This sale is made pursuant to the provisions of N.J.S.A. 54:5-1 et seq. and the act amendatory thereof and supplementary thereto. Any of the said tracts of land may be redeemed before the sale by payment of the amount due thereon to date of such redemption, including interest and costs to such date. Industrial Properties may be subject to the Spill Compensation and Control Act (NJSA 58:10-23.11 et seq.), the Water Pollution Control Act (NJSA 58:10A-1 et seq.) and the Industrial Site Recovery Act (NJSA 13:1K-6 et seq.). In addition, the Municipality is precluded from issuing a tax sale certificate to any prospective purchaser who is or may be in any way connected to the prior owner or operator of the site. IN THE EVENT THE OWNER IS ON ACTIVE DUTY WITH THE MILITARY, THE COLLECTOR SHOULD BE NOTIFIED IMMEDIATELY. The following is a description of the lands and owners’ names as contained in the list on file in my office, together with total amount of taxes, interest and cost of sale due thereon as computed to November 14, 2025. The names are shown as they appear in the current Tax Duplicate and do not necessarily mean that these parties are the present owners of the properties.
After the first publication of this list, the Collector is authorized to remove names from the list of property offered for sale only upon receipt of certified funds.
