ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
LAFOURCHE PARISH ASSESSORS OFFICE
STATE OF LOUISIANA
LAFOURCHE PARISH ASSESSORS OFFICE (herein referred to as the "Owner") hereby solicits sealed bids for the LAFOURCHE PARISH ASSESSORS OFFICE BUILDING IMPROVEMENTS project described as follows:
STATEMENT OF WORK: LAFOURCHE PARISH ASSESSORS OFFICE BUILDING IMPROVEMENTS project consists of the renovation of approximately 4,450 square feet of office space located on the first floor of the AIM Building, 404 Green Street, Thibodaux, Louisiana. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, metal stud framing, gypsum board, acoustical ceiling systems, painting, flooring and base, doors, windows, millwork, and associated mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work.
PROJECT DURATION: One hundred and eighty (180) Calendar Days to Substantial Completion.
BID SUBMITTAL: Sealed Bids shall be addressed to: ATTENTION: Imbrie Packard, Project Manager, Royal Engineers & Consultants LLC and delivered to 720 Canal Boulevard, Thibodaux, Louisiana 70301 not later than 9:00 a.m. CST on Tuesday, December 9, 2025. Any bid received after the specified time and date will not be considered.
BID OPENING: The sealed bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at 10:00 a.m. CST on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at Royal Engineers & Consultants LLC located at 720 Canal Boulevard, Thibodaux, Louisiana 70301.
PRE-BID MEETING: Attendance at the Pre-Bid Conference is not mandatory in order to bid on the project; however, bidders are encouraged to attend. It is the responsibility of all potential bidders to visit the job site to assess the location and conditions prior to bidding. A Non-Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will be held at 1:30 p.m. CST on Wednesday November 19, 2025, at Royal Engineers & Consultants LLC located at 720 Canal Boulevard, Thibodaux, Louisiana 70301 followed by a site visit at 404 Green Street, Thibodaux, Louisiana.
BID DOCUMENTS: Pursuant to the Louisiana Revised Statute, Bidders may obtain Bid Documents electronically via email request at rfi@royal.us with the Subject Line: “LPAO BUILDING IMPROVEMENTS”, via phone by calling (985) 224-0041 and asking for Alyda Mire, or in person at Royal Engineers & Consultants LLC located at 720 Canal Boulevard, Thibodaux, Louisiana 70301.
REQUST FOR INFORMATION: Please submit questions for the project by Friday November 28, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. CST, via email to the Royal Engineers & Consultants via email at rfi@royal.us with the Subject Line: “LPAO BUILDING IMPROVEMENTS.”
REQUIRED LICENSE: Contractors submitting bids shall be licensed under LA R.S. 37:2150-2164,
Commercial Construction. The bidder shall show his license number on the bid and on the sealed envelope submitting the bid.
CERTIFICATE OF LIABILITY: The signature on the bid must be that of an authorized representative of the corporation, partnership, or other legal entity, as defined by Louisiana Public Bid Law Revised Statute 38:2212. A.(1)(c) which dictates parties authorized to submit bids for public contracts. All required Certificates of Liability Insurance shall list the LAFOURCHE PARISH ASSESSORS OFFICE as “additionally insured.”
OWNERS RIGHTS: The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids for just cause; such actions will be in accordance with Title 38 of the Louisiana Revised Statutes. In accordance with R.S. 38:2212 (A)(1)(b), the provisions and requirements stated in the Bidding Documents shall not be waived by any entity.

APPLICABLE LAWS, ORDINANCES, & RULES & REGULATIONS: All applicable Federal, State,
Local laws, ordinances, and the rules and regulations of all authorities having jurisdiction over
construction of the project shall apply to the contract throughout.
BID SECURITY: Each Bidder must deposit with his/her bid, security in the amount of at least five
percent (5%) of the total bid price, provided on the specified form and subject to the conditions
provided in the Information for Bidders. Sureties used for obtaining bonds must appear as acceptable
on the U. S. Department of Treasury Circular 570.
BID WITHDRAWAL: No bidder may withdraw his/her bid within Forty-Five (45) days after the actual
date of the opening thereof, except as provided under LA. R.S. 38:2214.
