TOWN OF BURNS, NEW YORK Notice of Public Hearing Site Plan and Special Use Permit Application for Proposed Tier 2 Battery Energy Storage System Located at 10578 Rte. 961F (SBL No. 35.-1-24.2)   LEGAL NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that pursuant to Section 7(C)(3) of the Town of Burns Local Law No. 1 of 2021 that the Town Board will hold a public hearing at the Town Hall, 87 Main Street, Canaseraga New York 14822 at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, the 12th of November, 2025 to hear all interested parties and citizens regarding the site plan and special use permit application submitted by Zenobe Americas Inc. for a Tier 2 Battery Energy Storage System located at 10578 State Route 961F near the intersection with L B Road (SBL No. 35.-1-24.2). The proposed project involves the construction and operation of 120 five (5) megawatt-hour (MWh) battery energy storage systems, totaling 400 MWh of usable energy and 600 MWh of nominal energy, with appurtenant electrical equipment, fencing, and access roads, on approximately 9.8 acres of a 14.959-acre parcel of land adjacent to an existing NYSEG substation. Said hearing may be adjourned from time to time as necessary.
