PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that on December 4, 2025 at 7:00 p.m., the Unified Planning Board of the Township of Freehold will hold a public hearing on the application of D.R. Horton, Inc. – New Jersey. The public hearing will be held at the Freehold Township Municipal Building, 1 Municipal Plaza, Freehold Township, New Jersey 07728. The premises which are the subject of the application are located at 793 Elton Adelphia Road, Freehold, New Jersey. Said premises are also known as Block 92, Lots 17.01, 17.02, 17.03, 17.04, 17.05, 17.06, 17.07, 17.08, 17.09, 17.10, 17.11, 17.13, 17.14, 17.15, 17.16, 17.17, 17.18, 17.19, 17.21, 17.22, 17.23, 17.24, 17.25 in Freehold Township, New Jersey and located within the R-15 Zoning District,
The applicant is seeking Amended Preliminary and Final Major Subdivision and Variance relief for the newly created residential lots, specifically, "d" variance relief for the above-listed lots for exceeding the floor area ratio permitted in the R-15 Zone.
The applicant also intends to request at the hearing such density, use and bulk variance and/or waivers of design standards and/or submission requirements as are required to develop the premises in the manner indicated in the application materials, and any other variances or waivers that the Board may require.
All documents relating to the application may be inspected by the public by contacting the Board Secretary to make arrangements in the office of the Zoning/Planning Board, Freehold Township Municipal Building, 1 Municipal Plaza, Freehold Township, New Jersey 07728 and are available for public inspection, during normal business hours. Any interested party may appear at the aforesaid hearing, either in person, or by their attorney, and be given an opportunity to be heard with respect to the aforesaid application.
