PUBLIC NOTICE CITY OF TWO RIVERS ORDINANCE 25-217 An Ordinance to Amend Chapters 1-2 and 7-5 of the Municipal Code of the City of Two Rivers, Wisconsin, Regulating the Use of Municipal Cemeteries The ordinance updates rules and fees related to the interment of domestic pets in City cemeteries. Key provisions include: • Only cremated remains of domestic pets may be interred, and they must be in sealed containers. Non-cremated remains are not permitted. • Domestic pets may only be buried in areas designated by the Director of Parks and Recreation, who will establish suitable plots and sizes at their discretion. • Fees for domestic pet cemetery services are established as follows: o Cemetery Lot - $200 o Cemetery Stone - $250 o Cemetery Burial - $200 This ordinance ensures clear guidelines and appropriate management of domestic pet burials within City cemeteries.
