NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Joint Public Hearing will be held by the Town of Eagle Planning & Zoning Commission, Town Board and a Staff Representative of the Waukesha County Department of Parks and Land Use - Planning and Zoning Division on Wednesday, December 3, 2025 at 5:30 p.m. at the Eagle Town Hall, 820 E. Main Street, Eagle, Wisconsin 53119, to consider amendments (RZ167) to the Town of Eagle Zoning Map. The map update incorporates modified floodplain boundaries that were adopted in 2024. The overall floodplain area within the town reduced in size with FEMA's floodplain map update. Therefore, some of the lands formerly zoned by Waukesha County are now subject to the Town of Eagle Zoning Code. Affected properties are proposed to be zoned consistent with their current use. Most affected properties are state land which will be zoned P-1 Public. Many affected areas will remain zoned C-1 Conservancy District because the lands are wetlands. The draft map is available for viewing at www.waukeshacounty.gov/planningandzoning (Click Mapping Resources and then Draft Maps).
For additional information concerning this public hearing, please contact Town Planner Jacob Heermans at (262) 548-7812.
All interested parties will be heard.
