INVITATION TO BID (ITB-002-0-2026/SC)
COCONUT PARK TREE INSTALLATION
Sealed bids for providing COCONUT PARK TREE INSTALLATION to Indian Trail Improvement District (ITID) will be received via www.DemandStar.com, on or by: December 8, 2025. No Later Than 8:00 A.M. (local time). All sealed bids that are received timely will be publicly opened at ITID’s Administrative Office. Bids received after the cut-off date and time will not be considered. The identity of Respondents to the ITB will be announced at the Opening; however, no copies of bid tabulations will be provided to Respondents or to the public at that time.
SCOPE OF SERVICES: The work consists of enhancing Coconut Park or right-of-way location(s) with the installation of specified tree species and supporting staking materials. All work shall meet or exceed Florida Grades and Standards for Nursery Plants and comply with current ITID and Palm Beach County regulations. The Owner is ITID.
The Project Manual & Contract Documents may be downloaded from www.DemandStar.com (Bid ID #: ITB 002-0-2026/SC, linked to the District’s website. www.indiantrail.com, beginning at 10:00 A.M. on November 16, 2025. All bids shall be submitted on standard forms which will be downloaded with the Specifications exclusively from www.DemandStar.com.
Bids received after the cut-off date and time will not be considered. The time stamp of receipt through www.DemandStar.com shall be conclusive as to the timeliness of filing.
REQUESTS FOR INFORMATION/CLARIFICATIONS (RFIs): RFIs regarding this bid must be submitted by e-mailing Scarlet Cantley at ITID. Ms. Cantley’s E-mail address is info@indiantrail.com. Her Office Hours are Monday – Thursday, 7:30 A.M. TO 6:00 P.M. No RFIs will be accepted after 5:00 P.M. on November 25, 2025.
Bids shall be in accordance with the Terms and Conditions which are included in the Bid Documents and Specifications which may be obtained from www.DemandStar.com.
No Bidder may withdraw their bid after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. All bids must be firm bids for a period of one hundred fifty (150) days after the time set for opening of bids. ITID reserves the right to reject any and all bids and readvertise or to waive minor irregularities in bids received.
Pursuant to Section 287.05701, Florida Statutes, vendors are hereby notified that the District will not request documentation regarding or consider a vendor’s social, political or ideological interests when determining if a vendor is responsible or give preference to a vendor based on its social, political or ideological interests.
A person or affiliate who has been placed on the convicted vendor list following a conviction for a public entity crime may not submit a Bid on a Contract with a public entity for the construction or repair of a public building or public work, may not be awarded or perform Work as a Contractor, Supplier, Subcontractor, or Consultant under a Contract with any public entity, and may not transact business with any public entity in excess of the threshold amount provided in Section 287.017, Florida Statutes, for Category Two for a period of 36 months from the date of being placed on the convicted vendor list.
CONE OF SILENCE: Bidders and individuals acting on behalf of such Bidders should not lobby ITID personnel, Board Members, District Legal Counsel or District Engineer since such activity may result in the rejection and disqualification of said Bidder for this Solicitation to Bid. For purposes of this Solicitation to Bid, the term “lobbying” is defined as an action taken by an individual, firm, association, joint venture partnership, syndicate, corporation or others seeking to influence the selection process by or through the District personnel, Board members, District Counsel or District Engineer after the initial publication of this Notice and through the time that an award recommendation is issued by the District’s Board of Supervisors
