NOTICE OF PUBLIC
HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN
that a public hearing will be held before the City Council of the City of Moorpark, California, on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at 6:30 p.m., at the Moorpark City Hall, located at 323 Science Drive, Moorpark, California, 93021, to consider the ordinance described below.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN
that this proposed ordinance, with proposed amendments to Title 15 of the Moorpark Municipal Code, is exempt from the provisions of the California Environmental Quality Act pursuant to Section 15061(b)(3) of the California Code of Regulations (CEQA Guidelines) by the general rule that CEQA only applies to “projects” that may have a significant effect on the environment.
Proposal: An ordinance amending Title 15 (Buildings and Construction) of the Moorpark Municipal Code as well as adopting by reference and amending the current editions of certain codes comprising the California Building Standards Code, and approving a determination of exemption under CEQA in connection therewith.

The proposed ordinance may be reviewed at the Community Development Department, City Hall, 323 Science Drive, Moorpark, CA 93021 during normal business hours.
Any person affected by the proposed ordinance may appear and be heard in support or opposition to the proposals at the time of the hearing.
The City Council in their deliberation could approve the proposal, deny, or approve the proposal in an alternative form. If you challenge the proposal in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the Public Hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the Community Development Department at, or prior to, the Public Hearing.
