PROPOSED AMENDMENTS LEGAL NOTICE TOWN OF FREETOWN PLANNING BOARD NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING In accordance with the Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 40a Section 5, you are hereby being notified of a Public Hearing.   The Freetown Planning Board will conduct a public hearing to consider proposed amendments to the Town of Freetown Protective By-laws, for an Accessory Dwelling Unit Bylaw eliminating Accessory Apartments and amending the Setback Requirements for accessory structures.   The meeting will be held on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. at the Police Station Community Room, 15 Memorial Drive, East Freetown, MA 02717.   The text of the proposed amendment of the Freetown Protection By-Laws may be viewed at the office of the Town Clerk and the Planning Board office, at the Freetown Town Hall, Assonet, MA, during normal business hours.
