INVITATION TO BID BID DATE: Monday 12/22/2025 PROJECT: Charlotte County Fire Station 3   Wharton-Smith, Inc. is proudly the Construction Manager serving Charlotte County and is soliciting proposals from prequalified subcontractors for the construction of Charlotte County Fire Station 3   The project consists of a new fire station #3. The work includes: earthwork, underground utilities, paving, irrigation, landscaping, fencing, concrete, masonry, structural steel, roofing, sealants, fireproofing, doors, frames & hardware, overhead doors, windows, storefront, gypsum wallboard assemblies, acoustical ceilings, wood flooring, resilient and tile flooring, hard tile, carpeting, acoustic panels, painting, signage, visual display & marker boards, toilet compartments & accessories, lockers, flagpoles, fire sprinklers, plumbing, HVAC and electrical.   Bids will be received at the office of Wharton-Smith, Inc., located at 4912 W. La Salle Street, Tampa, FL 33607 no later than the date and time prescribed above. Bids may be hand delivered, mailed, or emailed to comest@whartonsmith.com. Bids received after the appointed date and time will be subject to rejection. Bids will only be accepted from Prequalified Firms utilizing the required Form of Proposal included in the Bid Package.   The RFI deadline is December 10, 2025.
