APPLICATION FOR WATER NO.94697
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that on the 5th day of September 2025 Walker Basin Conservancy of Reno, Nevada made application to the State Engineer of Nevada for permission to change the point of diversion, place and manner of use of 0.930 c.f.s., 451.91 a.f.a., a portion of water heretofore appropriated under Permit 2040A03, Certificate 1802, further described as Court Claim 243 of the Walker River Decree. Water will be diverted from East Walker River at a point of non-diversion located within the NW1/4 SW1/4 of Section 14, T11N, R26E, MDB&M, or at a point from which the SE corner of Section 23, T11N, R26E, MDB&M bears S 30 degrees 13 minutes 47 seconds E, a distance of 8,474 feet (approx. 13 miles SE of Yerington, NV). Water will be used for instream flow for wildlife purposes as decreed. The existing point of diversion was located within the NW1/4 SW1/4 of Section 32, T12N, R26E, MDB&M, or at a point from which the SW corner of said Section 32 bears S 29 degrees 30 minutes W, a distance of 1,225 feet. Water was used for irrigation and domestic purposes from March 1st to October 31st of each year.
