LEGAL NOTICE
City of Stow Amphitheater
Sealed bids will be received by the Chief of Staff/Director of Public Service in the City of Stow, OH, until 12:00 Noon EST, January 22, 2026 and then publicly opened in Council Chambers at City Hall, 3760 Darrow Road, Stow, OH, pursuant to Ordinance No. 2025-167 for the construction of City of Stow Amphitheater in accordance with the drawings and specifications as prepared by the design professional.
Bid Package #1 – General Construction
Bid Package #2 – AV & Technology
Engineer's Estimate for the cost of all Bid Packages = $4,750,000
Bidding documents are available via AA Blueprint and the Builders Exchange of East Central Ohio. The cost to print the terms, conditions, drawings, and specifications are the responsibility of the bidder.
Bidders must use the forms provided. Each proposal must contain the full name of the party(ies) making the same, and all persons interested therein.
Each bidder must furnish with its proposal a bid guaranty and contract bond in accordance with Ohio Revised Code Section 153.54.
The City of Stow, in determining the lowest, responsive, and responsible bidder in the award of this contract, may award a local bidder preference to any qualified bidder. The determination of whether a bidder qualifies for the local preference shall be made by the Board of Control; that decision shall be final.
The City of Stow reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bids received, and to accept any bid in part or in whole, which is deemed most favorable to the City of Stow at the time and under the conditions stipulated.
A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at 10:00 AM on January 6, 2026, in the Boards & Commissions Room of City Hall. Site visitation is available immediately thereafter.
