NOTICE INVITING SEALED BID PROPOSALS PWP#: LA-2026-091 Notice is hereby given that sealed proposals will be received by the Nevada Department of Wildlife (NDOW) Attention: Kelsey Anderson at 6980 Sierra Center Pkwy #120, Reno, Nevada, 89511. All sealed proposals must be received, and time recorded prior to 2:00 P.M., local time on Monday, December 29, 2025, at which time they will be publicly opened and read, for performing work as follows: NDOW Battle Mountain Field Office Tenant Improvements In accordance with the Contract Plans and Specifications, the Project consists of a floorplan modification to build three new offices and extend a partial wall to the ceiling in existing office, install a variable speed mini-split heat pump with associated air distribution and HVAC ducting and controls with minor supporting electrical and plumbing improvements in a 989 square foot building as indicated in the drawings. Although it may not be shown explicitly on the drawings in some cases, the scope also includes all materials and labor to return the entire office to a finished condition, including but not limited to framing, drywall, wall insulation, texture and paint, new doors and window(s) where required, finish carpentry, flooring patching/repair, and electrical circuitry and lighting. Architectural elements and finishes will be coordinated directly with NDOW upon contract award, through product submittals and approvals. The entire site will NOT be turned over to the contractor and must remain open to the public during construction. Contractor must accommodate ongoing operations (mostly administrative in nature) for the duration of the project. Pursuant to the Statutes NRS 338.020 to 338.090 of the State of Nevada, the Labor Commissioner has established the minimum wage rates and rates of overtime and legal holidays in the locality in which the work is to be performed. A non-mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held at the project site located at 525 Round Mountain Dr. Battle Mountain, Nevada regardless of weather, at 2:00 P.M. local time on Monday, December 8, 2025. There will be an opportunity to tour the worksite. All bidders submitting as prime or sub-contractors are highly encouraged to attend. All proposals shall be accompanied by a bid bond amounting to not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid which is payable to said Owner signed by the bidder and include a corporate security, a cashier’s, or certified check payable to the order of NDOW (Owner) for the said amount. Said bond shall become payable to Owner or said check shall be forfeited in case the bidder depositing the same does not, within (10) days after written notice that the Contract has been awarded to him/her: (a) enter into a Contract with the Owner, and (b) furnish certificates of insurance, a bond of faithful performance and a payment bond as described in the Contract Documents. The results of bidding will be reported by the Owner within 30 days of the bid opening, at which time the Owner may award the Contract to the lowest, responsive, and responsible bidder as so reported; however, said Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive irregularities or informalities in any bid or in the bidding for any reason whatsoever. No bidder shall withdraw his or her bid for a period of sixty (60) calendar days after the date of the opening thereof.
