Notice for Requesting Proposals for FSMC Services

Attention: Food Service Management Companies (FSMCs)
REQUST FOR PROPOSAL
Notice is hereby given that the Board of School Directors of the Aurora City School District is requesting proposals for school food service management services at the Aurora City School District in Aurora, Ohio. The selected service provider will provide management services according to United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) regulations and guidelines, as well as the Ohio Department of Education policies and guidelines. The Board of School Directors reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive any defects or irregularities in any proposal and to accept the proposal that it finds in its sole discretion to be in the best interest of the Aurora City School District. No proposal will be accepted from any service provider that has not attended a mandatory walk-through pre-bid meeting which is scheduled for December 19, 2025, at 2:00pm.
All questions, requests for clarification or for additional information by any potential responder must be submitted sarquilla@aurora-schools.org no later than December 16, 2025, at 12:00pm. Mr. Arquilla will respond no later than December 17, 2025. All proposals must be delivered in a sealed envelope and addressed to the Aurora City School District, c/o Sal Arquilla, 102 E Garfield Road, Aurora Ohio 44202, and be clearly marked as “FOOD SERVICE MANAGEMENT PROPOSAL”. All sealed proposals must be received no later than 12pm, prevailing time, on January 6, 2026, at which time they will be opened and read aloud at a public bid opening to be held at that time at the Aurora City School’s Administration Building, 102 E Garfield Road, Aurora Ohio 44202.
