NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS City of Zanesville – Advanced Meter Infrastructure Water Meter Installation Sealed bids will be received by the City of Zanesville Public Service Office at 401 Market Street, Room 228, Zanesville, Ohio 43701, until Thursday, January 8th 2026 at 12pm local time, and then and there publicly opened and read for the Advanced Meter Infrastructure Water Meter Installation. The project consists of the replacement of approximately 2,000 residential water meters with Badger Meter E-Series ultrasonic meters equipped with cellular endpoints. The project will also include coordination of installation services with the customers and scheduling services, as well as an electronic Work Order Management System (WOMS) to transmit the data electronically back to the City of Zanesville. Project is installation only. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Muskingum County as determined by the State of Ohio Prevailing Wage Determinations. The estimated cost for the work is $441,000.
