Invitation to Bid   Sealed bids will be received by the Office of Procurement Services, on behalf of the Lake County Board of County Commissioners, until 3:00 p.m. on January 8, 2026, for the furnishing of all services, labor, materials and equipment for the construction of the following project: Sun Eden Water Quality Retrofits; Project No. 2026-02; Bid No. 26-706.   The Sun Eden Water Quality Retrofits project is located in the Yalaha area on the south side of Lake Harris and shall consist of installing two (2) baffle boxes with Bold and Gold nutrient filtration system. Other work associated with this project include swale restoration, pipe and structure installation, asphalt and base repair, striping, sodding and other miscellaneous incidental construction.   Plans, specifications and bid forms may be obtained at http://www.lakecountyfl.gov/departments/fiscal_and_administrative_services/procurement_services/view_all_bids.aspx.   Hand delivery of submittals will not be accepted. RESPONSES MUST BE SUBMITTED THROUGH THE SOLICITATION RESPONSE PORTAL TO BE CONSIDERED – https://procurement.lakecountyfl.gov/login. A response will not be accepted if completed and submitted after the official due date and time.   Interested parties may listen to the 3:01 P.M. solicitation opening by calling 1-321-332-7400, Conference ID 971 920 36#.   Bids may be withdrawn prior to the date of opening, but no bids may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the date of opening of bids.   The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive formalities, and to award the contract in the best interest of Lake County, Florida.   All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Guarantee acceptable to the County Attorney, which shall be one of the following; bid bond or letter of credit, in the sum of five percent (5%) of the base bid and made payable to Lake County. Said bid bond or letter of credit shall be a guarantee that should the bid be accepted, the bidder will, within ten (10) days after written notice of the award of the contract, enter into a contract with Lake County for the services proposed to be performed and will at that time furnish an acceptable contract surety.
