NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON REZONING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Des Moines, Iowa, has adopted a resolution concerning a request from Bobby Brown (Contract Buyer), and Casey Brown (Contract Buyer), for the following regarding property located in the vicinity of 1233 10th Street: to rezone the property from "N5" Neighborhood District to a Limited "NX1" Neighborhood Mix District, to allow the property to contain up to eight (8) residential dwelling units, subject to conditions set forth in the resolution:
THE NORTH ½ OF LOT NINE (9) IN ENOS B. HUNT'S ADDITION TO NORTH DES MOINES, AN OFFICIAL PLAT, NOW INCLUDED IN AND FORMING A PART OF THE CITY OF DES MOINES, POLK COUNTY, IOWA.
AND
LOT TWENTY-NINE (29) IN MCHENRY PLACE, AN OFFICIAL PLAT, NOW INCLUDED IN AND FORMING A PART OF THE CITY OF DES MOINES, POLK COUNTY, IOWA.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the City Council will consider the proposed rezoning after a public hearing to be held at 5:00 p.m. on December 22, 2025, in the Council Chambers, City Hall, 400 Robert D. Ray Drive, Des Moines, Iowa. At the hearing, opportunity to be heard will be given to proponents and opponents of the proposed rezoning. Any person or organization desiring to submit written material regarding this matter may direct such written material to the Office of the City Clerk, City Hall, 400 Robert D.
