Public Notice – Housing Authority of the Borough of Highlands Request for Proposals General Counsel   The Housing Authority of the Borough of Highlands, New Jersey (Authority), is seeking proposals from qualified attorneys or law firms to be retained as the Authority’s general legal counsel for the period commencing February 1, 2026, through January 31, 2027. All legal services must be provided in accordance with the existing rules, orders, directives and regulations promulgated by the U. S. Dept. of Housing and Urban Development, provided that such compliance is in the best interest of the Authority and are required by law. Attorneys submitting proposals in response to the Request for Proposals (RFP) must not be debarred, suspended or otherwise prohibited from professional practice by any Federal, State or Local agency. Sealed proposals must be submitted by 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 19, 2025 at the Authority offices located at 215 Shore Drive, Highlands, NJ 07732, or via email to reneed@highlandsha.org.
