NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS The City of Staunton Planning Commission will hold the following Public Hearings at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 18, 2025. The hearings will be held in Rita S. Wilson Council Chambers located on the first floor of City Hall, 116 W Beverley Street. • Public Hearing and Consideration of a Request by Augusta Opportunities, Inc, to Rezone 20 Stonewall Jackson Blvd, Parcel Identification Number 12298, and 30 Stonewall Jackson Blvd, Parcel Identification Number 12299, from B-2, General Business District, to R-4, High Density Residential District. The City of Staunton, Virginia, Comprehensive Plan 2018-2040, Land Use Development Guide, Future Land Use Map, Designates This Area as Medium Density Planned Residential with No Specific Density Indicated. • Public Hearing and Consideration of a Request by Thomas Wilkinson, River Rock Properties, LLC, to Vacate, Discontinue, and Abandon that Portion of a 12 Foot Alley Lying Between Lots 9–12 of Block D and Lots 10–13 of Block B of the Rosecrest Plat. The Planning Commission will conduct site visits at 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 16, 2025. Commission members and staff will meet at the Parks and Recreation Offices at Montgomery Hall Park.
