LEGAL NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING FOR ENVIRONMENTAL VIOLATIONS
TO: INDIANA 2206 LAND TRUST 2206 S. MICHIGAN ST SOUTH BEND, IN 46613, and to all persons or corporations having or claiming any rights, titles or interest in the following real estate commonly known as described 2206 S. MICHIGAN ST SOUTH BEND, IN 46613 AS KEY PARCEL # 71-08-13-379-002.000-026 and State Parcel #018-7035-1406. Neighborhood Services and Enforcement alleges that you have violated the South Bend Municipal Code, Section 16-53, 16-58, 16-59, and/or 18-7 by permitting or allowing, to exist, these conditions, which constitutes a public nuisance:
HOUSEHOLD ITEMS, LITTER & DEBRIS, FURNITURE, BAGS/BOXES LOCATED FRONT OF PROPERTY.
You are hereby ordered to be present at a hearing before the Hearing Officer for Neighborhood Code Services, on DECEMBER 16TH , 2025, at 1:30 p.m., in room 301-3rd floor of the City Hall Located at 215 S. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Blvd In the City Of South Bend, In, County of St. Joseph, state Of Indiana. At this hearing, the Hearing Officer may affirm the order of which all environmental violations must be removed by DECEMBER 16TH,2025. If the environmental violations are not removed by that date, you may be liable for all incurred costs of removing the environmental violations as well as a lawsuit for a penalty up to $2,500.00.
This is a continuous enforcement order as defined by I.C. 36-7-9, and therefore is in full force and effect without the need to seek additional compliance, abatement or orders for the same or similar violations. Ongoing compliance and enforcement activities are authorized if necessary, and fees and costs may be assessed and collected without the need for additional notice or hearing.
