LEGAL NOTICE Town of Sterling Notice of Public Hearing and Special Town Meeting   The Sterling Board of Selectmen has scheduled a Public Hearing for Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at 7:00 PM in the Sterling Town Hall, Room #15, 1183 Plainfield Pike, Oneco, Connecticut to consider revised fees for connection with and use of the Town of Sterling’s municipal water supply system, which fees would be made effective on January 1, 2026. The proposed Municipal Water Company User Fees, dated November 5, 2025, are available for review on the Town website at www.sterlingct.us and copies are also available for review in the office of the Sterling Town Clerk during normal business hours. At the Public Hearing, all interested persons may speak and submit written communications regarding the proposed fees.   The electors and citizens qualified to vote in Town Meetings of the Town of Sterling are also hereby notified and warned that a Special Town Meeting will be held immediately following the conclusion of the Public Hearing to consider and take action on the following questions:   1. Shall the Town adopt the Proposed Municipal Water Company User Fees as set forth in the proposal dated November 5, 2025?   2. Shall the Town transfer $29,879.00 from the “General Fund” to the “Recreation Department Capital Account”?   3. Shall the Town appropriate the funds of $63,500.00 quoted by Mark Finley, Jr. for the “Installation of Drop/Suspended Ceiling, Removal & Replacement of Electrical Fixtures” job to come out of the “Facilities Maintenance Account”?   Sterling Board of Selectmen   AD#11896577 Norwich Bulletin 12/8, 12/14/2025
