ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Sealed bids for furnishing all labor, materials and equipment necessary for the Dry Lime Sludge Removal, Hauling and Disposal Services, BID 2026-11 for the City of Ormond Beach, Florida, will be received at the Office of the Purchasing Coordinator, City Hall, Ormond Beach, Florida, until January 21, 2026 at 2:00 pm, at which time bids will be opened and publicly read aloud in the Training Room located in the breezeway between City Hall and the Public Library. Bids received after the above time and date will be returned unopened. The City of Ormond Beach Public Works Department is seeking bids to remove and dispose of 75 truckloads, of dry expended lime sludge from the south storage basin located at the Water Treatment Plant (298 Tomoka Avenue, Ormond Beach, Florida) and remove and dispose of 75 truckloads of dry expended lime sludge at Leeway Pumping Station (301 Leeway Trail, Ormond Beach, Florida). The Lime sludge in the basin is a by- product of the lime softening process and includes the centrifuge byproduct (centrate), the filter backwash clear well (filter waste), and the Clairicone blowdowns. The Lime sludge at Leeway Pumping Station is dry centrifuged sludge from the Lime Plant process.
