The City of Phoenix Floodplain Management Section, in accordance with National Flood Insurance Program regulation 65.7(b)(1), hereby gives notice of the City's intent to revise the flood hazard information generally located south of Sonoran Desert Drive. Specifically, the flood hazard information will be revised along the Apache Wash and Mesquite Tank Wash, 200' north of Sonoran Desert Drive to 6700' south of Sonoran Desert Drive. The flood hazard revisions are being proposed as part of Letter of Map Revision (LOMR) for the project. The LOMR will result in: Increases and decreases in the 1% annual chance water surface elevations in the vicinity of the Project. Widening and narrowing of the 1% annual chance floodplain and floodway in the vicinity of the Project.
