REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS County of Westchester New York  PRE-PROPOSAL MEETING: December 12, 2025 PROPOSALS DUE: January 9, 2026 OPERATION OF FOOD, REFRESHMENT, CATERING & VENDING CONCESSION PLAYLAND AMUSEMENT PARK RYE, NEW YORK  The Westchester County Department of Parks, Recreation and Conservation is seeking proposals from qualified individuals and firms interested in operating the food, refreshment, catering and vending concession at Playland Amusement Park in Rye, New York.  The intent of this Request For Proposals (RFP) is to seek out and select a licensee (“Licensee”) who will provide a high quality of food service at reasonable prices with an emphasis on customer service. Playland Amusement Park desires to foster an atmosphere where an average family will be comfortable in the knowledge that they can purchase an affordable meal of good quality with health options at a reasonable price that compares to the quality and prices of comparable meals outside the park. The food and refreshment concession is an amenity to the park and in evaluating proposals the County will consider whether the price and quality mix of the food operation will keep people in the park at dinner time. This is significant to the overall mission of Playland Amusement Park.  There will be a pre-proposal conference on December 12, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. at Playland Amusement Park, 1 Playland Parkway, Rye, NY 10580. Attendance at the pre-proposal conference is mandatory.
