REQUEST FOR BIDS 2026 BUILDING ENVELOPE IMPROVEMENTS MOUNTAIN SHOP BLDG. OCONTO COUNTY Oconto County is hereby requesting bids for roof replacement at the Mountain Shop Building. A mandatory pre-bid conference has been scheduled for 10 a.m. on January 7, 2026 at the Mountain Shop, located at 14068 Old 32 in Mountain, Wisconsin. Copies of Drawings and other Bidding documents may be obtained by emailing your request to Jeremy Ballard at The Garland Company (jballard@garlandco.com). Sealed bids must be received by Oconto County prior to 2:00 p.m. January 21, 2026, in the Office of the County Clerk, located at 301 Washington Street, in Oconto Wisconsin 54153. Bids will be opened publicly and read aloud at 2:05pm in room 2023. Mark Bid envelope to: 1) identify project, 2) identify bidder, and 3) "SEALED BID". Bid envelope not properly marked or sealed may be cause for rejection. Award, if any, will be made as soon as possible thereafter. No bid shall be received unless accompanied by a certified check or a bid bond equal to 5 percent of the bid, payable to Oconto County Treasurer, as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and performance bond within 10 days from the date the lowest responsible bidder's bid is accepted. If the bidder fails to file such contract and performance bond within the time set by the County, the check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the County as liquidated damages. Oconto County reserves the right to reject any and all quotations and the right to disregard any and all nonconforming quotes.
