By virtue of and in obedience to a Writ of SEIZURE AND SALE directed to me by the Honorable 17th JUDICIAL DISTRICT COURT in and for the PARISH OF LAFOURCHE, State of Louisiana, dated: 03/20/25, in the above entitled and numbered cause, I shall proceed to sell at online auction on 01/14/26, beginning at 9:00 a.m., and bids may be entered on the platform having the following electronic address: www.bid4assests/LPSOSheriff to the last and highest bidder for cash, the following described property, to wit:
Property will be sold in as is condition.
All THAT CERTAIN PIECE OR PARCEL OF GROUND, together with all buildings and improvements thereon, all rights, ways, means, privileges, servitudes, prescriptions and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining thereto, situated in the Parish of Lafourche, State of Louisiana, in Section 99, T14S, R16E, in the Choupic Community, designated by the name of "Lenno Powell et al" on a plat of survey prepared by Lucien C. Gassen, Land Surveyor, dated February 26, 1976, filed under Entry No. 425527, of the conveyance records of Lafourche Parish, Louisiana, entitled "Division of Property of Lenno Powell et al North of Hwy. NO 304". Said tract measuring 289.96 feet (215.52 feet plus 74.44 feet) front along the northerly side of Louisiana State Highway No. 304 by a depth on its westerly sideline of 1978.65 feet and a depth on its easterly sideline of 1848.40 feet, with a width across the rear of 250.44 feet. LESS AND EXCEPT a lot located in the southeastern corner of said property measuring 70 feet front on the Public Road (Hwy. No 304) by 200 feet in depth from South to North, being the lot sold on September 17, 1921 by Mrs. Ursene Landry, wife of Jean Baptiste Percle et al to Edgar Landry, by act of sale recorded in C.B 53, p. 13; to the extent that the area possessed by the present owners of the said Edgar Landry lot (see above description plat) exceeds their title, this sale of such area is made without warranty.
And from the proceeds of said sale to pay petitioner by preference over all other claims, the sum of $159918.21 DOLLARS, along with interest and attorney’s fees and all other costs including my own costs and charges.
