SIMI VALLEY UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS FOR STUDIO MANAGEMENT SERVICES “RFQ” NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Simi Valley Unified School District (the “District”) is seeking studio management services as summarized below. 1. Overview. The District’s headquarters, located at 101 W. Cochran Street, Simi Valley, CA, include two world-class production studios, which the District intends to lease to third parties. The District is seeking a qualified individual or entity to manage the studios, including developing annual rate cards, creating production agreements, marketing and scheduling the facilities, overseeing daily studio operations, and implementing a billing protocol. The contract term will be for one year with possible annual renewal. 2. Tour Dates. The District will be offering studio tours to prospective respondents by appointment between January 5-16, 2026.Appointments may be made by contacting Ron Todo, Associate Superintendent, at 805-306-4500 et. 4012 or ron.todo@simivalleyusd.org. 3. RFQ. The RFQ provides further information about the studios, the anticipated studio management services, the minimum qualifications for prospective studio managers, and the submittal requirements. Cochran St., Simi Valley, CA 93065. 4. Delivery of RFQ Submittals. On or before 11:00 a.m. PT on January 30, 2026, submittals must be delivered by hand, mail or electronically to the District at 101 W. Cochran Street, Simi Valley, CA 93065, attn.: Ron Todo, Associate Superintendent, or by email to ron.todo@simivalleyusd.org. Submittals cannot be withdrawn for 180 calendar days. 5. Questions; Addenda. All inquiries shall be in writing and emailed to ron.todo@simivalleyusd.org. Questions and answers, and any RFQ addenda, will be posted on the District website at: https://simivalleyusdorg.finalsite.com/district/business-facilities. 6. Award; Reservation of Rights. In accordance with applicable law, the District shall select the respondent in the best interest of the District. The District reserves the right, in its sole discretion during the selection process, to reject any or all responses to the RFQ or any portion without exception or explanation.
