R E S O L U T I O N #8 -2025
A RESOLUTION TO ESTABLISH FEES RELATING TO ADMINISTRATION AND ENFORCEMENT OF OHIO PLUMBING CODE AND RESOLUTION 1991-6, STARK COUNTY PLUMBING REGULATIONS.
WHEREAS, Ohio Revised Code (ORC) 3709.09 (A) states that, “The board of health of a city or general health district may, by rule, establish a uniform system of fees to pay the costs of any services provided by the board,” which includes fees, registrations, and permits for commercial and residential plumbing. The fee increase for 2025 is highlighted below.
BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED, by the Board of Health, of the Stark County Combined General Health District, that the fee for each listed service shall be:

OIL/GREASE INTERCEPTOR $25.00
BACKFLOW PREVENTION DEVICE $20.00
LIFT STATION WITH SEWAGE EJECTOR $20.00
WATER SERVICE $25.00
REINSPECTION $75.00
REGISTRATION $70.00
LATE FEE REGISTRATION $35.00
PENALTY FEE - NO PERMIT 200% of TOTAL PERMIT FEE
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Board of Health, of the Stark County Combined General Health District, adopts this measure to be effective on and after January 1, 2026.
