BE IT RESOLVED that in accordance with 8 NYCRR 155.17, the Board of Education (the “Board”) of the Ithaca City School District (the “District”) shall hold a public hearing on January 6, 2026 at _4:00_PM at the Board of Education Building, 400 Lake Street, Ithaca, New York, for the purpose of discussing proposed revisions to the District-wide Safety Plan; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Board authorizes and directs the Clerk of the District to notify the public of said hearing by publishing in a newspaper of general circulation in the District and on the District’s website a notice in substantially the following form: NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON DISTRICT-WIDE SAFETY PLAN NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that in accordance with 8 NYCRR 155.17, the Board of Education of the Ithaca City School District (the “District”) shall hold a public hearing on the _6_ day of January, 2026 at 4:00__PM, at the Board of Education Building at 400 Lake Street, Ithaca, New York, for the purpose of discussing proposed revisions to the District-wide Safety Plan, to be considered for adoption by the Board of Education. A copy of the proposed revisions to the District-wide Safety Plan are available for inspection on the District’s website and in the office of the Clerk of the District.
