NOTICE
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that, pursuant to the requirements of the Township of Woodbridge Land Development Ordinance ("LDO") and The Municipal Land Use Law N.J.S.A. 40:55D-1 et seq. ("MLUL"), Amboy Kastle LLC has made application to the Planning Board of the Township of Woodbridge for Minor Site Plan Approval and such other relief as may arise during the course of the application for property known and designated as Block 556.04, Lot 14.02 as shown on the Township of Woodbridge Tax Map and is commonly known as 588 Amboy Avenue (the "Subject Property"). The Subject Property is located in the B-1 (Neighborhood Business) Zone and has frontage on Amboy Avenue (Route 35) and High Street. The Subject Property has an area of 30,433 square feet and is currently vacant with multiple light poles.
Applicant seeks Minor Site Plan approval for the development of a two-story daycare facility on the Subject Property having a total floor area of 10,387 square feet (7,460 square feet on the first floor; 2,927 square feet on the second floor) and an outdoor play area along with related parking and drainage improvements.
The Applicant further requests all other variances, waivers, relief, exceptions, interpretations and/or approvals as may be required under the circumstances pursuant to the LDO, and/or the MLUL which may arise during the hearing.
The application, plans and related documents are on file and available for public inspection during regular business hours in the Department of Planning and Development, Woodbridge Township Municipal Building, One Main Street, Woodbridge, N.J. 07095.
A public hearing will be held by the Woodbridge Township Planning Board regarding the above application on Wednesday, January 7, 2026 at 6:00 P.M. in the Council Chambers of the Woodbridge Township Municipal Building, One Main Street, Woodbridge, N.J. 07095 at which time and place you may appear in person, or by attorney, and present any comment or objection you may have to the application.
