NOTICE OF PROPOSAL TO VACATE CITY-OWNED RIGHT-OF-WAY NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Des Moines, Iowa, shall consider adoption of an ordinance permanently vacating a segment of Des Moines Street right-of-way located west of Robert D. Ray Drive, legally described as follows, subject to the reservation of easements for utilities therein: DES MOINES STREET LYING BETWEEN BLOCKS 1 AND 2, EAST FORT DES MOINES (EXCEPT THE AREA PREVIOUSLY VACATED AS DESCRIBED IN ORDINANCE 2038). NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Des Moines, Iowa, will consider the proposed vacation after a public hearing to be held January 12, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. in the City Council Chamber, City Hall, 400 Robert D.
