ORDINANCE S-52477 AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE AMENDMENT OF ORDINANCE S-52312 WHICH AUTHORIZED ENTERING INTO A CONTRACT WITH VERSATERM PUBILC SAFETY US, INC. TO INCLUDE AN EXCEPTION TO THE INDEMNITY AND ASSUMPTION OF LIABILITY PROVISIONS OF PHOENIX CITY CODE SECTION 42-18; AND FURTHER AUTHORIZING THE CITY CONTROLLER TO DISBURSE ALL FUNDS RELATED TO THIS ITEM. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHOENIX as follows: SECTION 1. It is requested that the City Council amend Ordinance S-52132 to include an exception to the indemnity and assumption of liability provisions of Phoenix City Code Section 42-18. Ordinance S-52132 authorized the City Manager to enter into a contract with Versaterm Public Safety US, Inc. to provide an Adashi Fire Incident Management System platform specifically designed for public safety to improve emergency scene awareness, safety, span of control, response, management, and reporting of critical incidents for the Fire Department. SECTION 2. The City Council grants an exception to the indemnification and assumption of liability provisions of Phoenix City Code Section 42-18. SECTION 3. The City Controller is authorized to disburse the funds for purposes of this Ordinance. PASSED by the City Council of the City of Phoenix this 3rd day of December, 2025.
