ORDINANCE S-52445 AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO AMEND AN AGREEMENT WITH PROFICIENT PEST SPECIALISTS LLC, TO PROVIDE ADDITIONAL FUNDING FOR TREATMENT OF SANITARY SEWER STRUCTURES; AND FURTHER AUTHORIZING THE CITY CONTROLLER TO DISBURSE FUNDS. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHOENIX as follows: SECTION 1. The City Manager, or his designee, is authorized to sign an amendment to Contract 155162 with Proficient Pest Specialists, LLC, to provide additional funding for labor, certifications, materials, equipment, insecticides, plastics, tarps, caution tape, barricades, and traffic control devices required to treat sanitary sewer manholes and cleanouts located within the City. The contract term remains unchanged, ending on September 30, 2026. The amendment will increase the contract amount by five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000). The total cost of the contract, as amended, will not exceed two million five hundred thousand dollars ($2,500,000). SECTION 2. The City Controller is authorized to disburse funds for purposes of this Ordinance. PASSED by the City Council of the City of Phoenix this 3rd day of December, 2025.
