2026 CCMG ROAD RESURFACING PROJECTS
General Notice
The Town of Yorktown (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project:
2026 CCMG Road Resurfacing Projects
Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the Yorktown Town Hall located at 9312 W Smith Street, Yorktown, Indiana 47396, until Monday, January 12, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. local time. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read aloud.
The Project includes the following Work:
Work for which proposals are to be received is for asphalt milling, placement of HMA surface, HMA pavement patching, stone shoulders and drives, and HMA for wedge and level, HMA approach work, curb ramp work, and striping along various roads in Yorktown.
Obtaining the Bidding Documents
Copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained electronically from the office of the Engineer, Butler, Fairman and Seufert, Inc., by contacting lhalloran@bfsengr.com or via phone at 317-713-4615. BF&S will distribute electronic copies of the Contract Documents and place potential Bidders on a Planholders List. Addendums will only be sent to, and Bids will only be accepted by, prospective Bidders that appear on the Planholders List. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. The contract documents, including plans and specifications, are on file and available for inspection in the office of the Town Manager at the Yorktown Town Hall.
Bids shall be properly and completely executed on Bid Forms and in the order as identified and contained in the Contract Documents obtained from the offices of the Engineer as stated above. Sealed bids shall be clearly marked "2026 CCMG Road Resurfacing Projects" on the exterior of the packet. Each bid shall be accompanied by a completely filled out Form No. 96 (latest revision), signed Agreement, and acceptable Bid Security. Any bid not accompanied by the above-required items shall be deemed to be a non-responsive bid.
No Bidder may withdraw his proposal within a period of 60 days following the date set for the receiving of bids. The Owner reserves the right to retain any and all bids for a period of not more than 60 days and said bid shall remain in full force and effect during said time. The Owner further reserves the right to waive informalities and to award the Contract to any Bidder all to the advantage of the Town of Yorktown or to reject all bids.
Bid Security
Each bid shall be accompanied by an acceptable certified check made payable to the Town of Yorktown or an acceptable bid bond in the amount equal to 10% of the total bid price executed by an incorporated surety company in good standing and qualified to do business in the State of Indiana and whose name appears on the current Treasury Department Circular 570.
Bonds
A Performance Bond and Payment Bond each in the amount of 100% of the Contract price will be required from the Contractor to whom the work is awarded.
Indiana Requirements
The Standard Questionnaire Form 96 (latest version) must be fully completed, including attachment of Contractor's Financial Statement as stipulated in Section III, and signed.
