PROJECT LOCATION: South of Frank Sinatra Drive and west of Portola Avenue (APN 620-170-009) PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The appellant, Supporters Alliance for Environmental Responsibility, has filed an appeal related to the approval of a Precise Plan (PP25-0003) for the Catavina Residential project. The proposed project includes development of 546 single-family residential (SFR) units on approximately 81 acres, with onsite circulation, utilities, stormwater facilities, and open space areas. PP25-0003 was approved by the Planning Commission via PC Resolution 2904 on November 18, 2025 at a duly noted public hearing. PUBLIC HEARING: NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Palm Desert, California, will hold a Public Hearing at its meeting on January 8, 2026. The City Council meeting begins at 4:00 p.m. in the Council Chamber at 73510 Fred Waring Drive, Palm Desert, California. Pursuant to Assembly Bill 2449, this meeting may be conducted as a hybrid meeting allowing public access via teleconference or in person.
