Sealed proposals for Running Track Renovation will be received by Greencastle-Antrim School District at the District Administration Office, 360 S. Ridge Avenue, Greencastle, PA 17225 on Thursday, January 15, 2026, at 2:00 p.m., prevailing time, at which time and place all proposals received will be publicly opened and read immediately.

Project consists of resurfacing the existing synthetic track at the Stadium within the School Campus and the construction of discus and javelin throw areas. A non-mandatory pre-bid conference will be held on Tuesday, January 6, at 1:00 at the District Administrative Offices, 360 S. Ridge Avenue, Greencastle, PA 17225. Questions regarding the bidding documents shall be directed to the Landscape Architect.
Bidding Documents will be available from the Landscape Architect to prime bidding contractors electronically or in print for a refundable fee of $ 75.00 + postage for printed editions.
All sealed proposals shall be submitted to Ms. Caroline Royer, Chief Financial Officer, one (1) original and two (2) copies in an envelope clearly marked on the outside with the name of the Bidder and “Sealed Bid for Running Track Renovation Project”. Proposal shall be mailed or delivered to Owner and received not later than time as stated above. Oral, telephonic (facsimile, e-mail, or telex), or telegraphic bids are invalid and will not receive consideration.
This project is subject to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Labor and Industry’s Prevailing Wage Determination and applicable provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act, the Act of August 15, 1961, P.L. 987, as amended and supplemented, and appropriate prevailing minimum rate as promulgated under provisions of said Act must be paid by contractors in connection with performance of the necessary work. Notice is also given that the project for which construction bids are being received is subject to the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act, the Act of October 27, 1955, P.L. 744, as amended and supplemented.
The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive, at its discretion, any or all irregularities, mistakes, omissions, or informalities relative thereto.
