ORDINANCE NO 1 OF 2026 AN ORDINANCE TO INCREASE SEWER RATES   On motion of ____and duly seconded by ____, that the following Ordinance be adopted.   BE IT ORDAINED, by the Town o f Krotz Springs of Louisiana, that this Ordinance will supersede all other Ordinances; that the following rates for sewer customers will increase as follows:   WHEREAS, the sewer rate increase will have a 12.5% for all customers; the residential rate will have a 12.5% increase from $16.47 to $18.53 and the commercial rate will have a 12.5% increase from $29.89 to $33.63 a month; and   WHEREAS, the water and sewer rates will have a 2% increase every fiscal year, thereafter; and   Said Ordinance having been introduced December 9, 2025 and notice of public hearings having been published, said public hearings having been held, the title having been read and the Ordinance considered, a record vote was taken and the following results were had: YEAS: NAYS: ABSENT: ABSTAINED: ATTEST __________________ Carroll B.
