LEGAL NOTICE   Sealed proposals in duplicate will be received by the Administrator of the Village of Navarre, Ohio, at his office in the Village Building until 2:00 o'clock p.m. on: THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 19, 2026 and will be opened and read the same day at the same time for: THE FURNISHING OF LABOR AND MATERIALS FOR THE EXPANSION AND RESTORATION OF THE NAVARRE WWTP VILLAGE OF NAVARRE, OHIO; Bids will be received for General Construction Work, Mechanical Work and Electrical Work, and for furnishing Oxidation Ditch Equipment, Final Settling Tank Equipment, Ultraviolet Disinfection Equipment, Self-Priming Pump Equipment, Belt Press Cake Pump Equipment, Aeration Equipment, Solids Removal Equipment, Grit Removal Equipment and Emergency Generation Equipment. Specifications and plans on which bids are requested are on file at the office of George A. Fiedler and Associates at 234 North Tuscarawas Avenue in Dover, Ohio. George A. Fiedler and Associates mailing address is Box 146, Dover Ohio, 44622 and its telephone number is 330-364-2122. Printed copies of these contract documents may be obtained at the forementioned office upon payment of $350.00 for a set of plans and specifications. An additional payment of $50.00 for each set of plans and specifications is required if mailing of the documents is requested. Electronic copies of these contract documents may be obtained upon payment of $75.00 for a set of plans and specifications. All payments and costs of the sets are non-refundable. Payment must be by company check, cashier's check or cash. No personal checks shall be accepted. Make check payable to George A. Fiedler and Associates. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid guaranty in the form of 1) a certified check, or cashier's check, or letter of credit, equal to 10% of the bid; or 2) a bid guaranty bond for the full amount of the bid; both forms of guaranty as provided in Chapter 153 of the Ohio Revised Code and in the project specifications. The amount of the bid for said guaranty purposes shall include all additive and deductive alternates. All bid guaranties shall be conditioned that if the bid is accepted within sixty (60) days of the bid opening, a proper contract shall be executed, and that upon failure or refusal to enter into said contract within ten (10) days after receipt of notification of award the bidder and the surety on any bond shall be liable to the Village in an amount not to exceed ten (10) per cent of the bid. Each bidder must insure that all employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, creed, color, sex or national origin. There shall be paid each employee not less than the hourly wage rate prevailing, on Public Improvements estimated to cost more than the current Federal prevailing wage rate threshold level, in Stark County, State of Ohio, as ascertained and determined by the United States Department of Labor. All bids shall comply with all of the requirements of the drawings, specifications and contract documents. This is authorized by action of the Village Administrator of Navarre, Blake Dibell.
