NOTICE COLLECTION OF TAXES TOWN OF NEW WINDSOR   TAKE NOTICE, that I, Susan C. Scheible, the undersigned Receiver of Taxes, of the Town of New Windsor, County of Orange, State of New York, have duly received the tax roll and warrant for the collection of taxes within the Town of New Windsor for the year of 2026. I will attend at 555 Union Avenue, in the said Town of New Windsor from January 1, 2026 to March 31, 2026 from 8:30 o’clock in the forenoon to 4:30 in the afternoon on each day, excepting Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays for the purpose of receiving the taxes listed on the said roll. TAKE FURTHER NOTICE, that taxes may be paid on or before January 31, 2026 without charge of interest. On all taxes received after such date, there shall be added interest of a one per centum for the first month, (for February 1, 2026 through February 28, 2026) and an additional one per centum for each additional month until paid (for March 1, 2026 through March 31, 2026); All unpaid taxes as of March 1, 2026 will receive a reminder notice and be charged an additional $2.00 in compliance with State Law. TAKE FURTHER NOTICE, that pursuant to the provisions of law, the tax roll, of the Town of New Windsor will be returned to the Commissioner of Finance of the County of Orange on the 7th day of April 2026.
