NOTICE OF RECEIPT OF TAX ROLL AND WARRANT OF THE TOWN OF LANSING PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that I, Deborah K. Munson, the undersigned Receiver of Taxes of the Town of Lansing, County of Tompkins and State of New York, have duly received the tax roll and warrant for the collection of taxes within the Town of Lansing for the year 2026 and that taxes will be received at the Town Clerk's Office, 29 Auburn Road, Lansing, New York in said Town of Lansing, from January 1, 2026 to March 31, 2026. Office Hours: Monday – Thursday 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Friday 7:30 a.m. – Noon, Friday, January 23rd and 30th 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Saturday, January 31st 8:00 a.m. - Noon for the purpose of receiving taxes on the said roll. The Office will be Closed Holidays: January 19th and February 16th, 2026. Payments may be mailed to Lansing Receiver of Taxes, PO Box 186, Lansing, New York 14882. A 24-Hour Drop Box is available in the Lansing Town Hall Foyer at 29 Auburn Road. TAKE FURTHER NOTICE, taxes may be paid in full on or before February 2, 2026 without charge or interest. On all taxes received after such date there will be added interest of one percent (1%) from February 3rd – March 2nd, 2026 and two percent (2%) plus $1.00 from March 3rd – March 31st, 2026. TAKE FURTHER NOTICE, pursuant to law, after March 31, 2026, unpaid taxes will be returned to Tompkins County Finance and thereafter payable to Tompkins County Finance. TAKE FURTHER NOTICE, said taxes may be paid in installments if the first installment with service charge of two and one-half percent (2.5%) is paid on or before February 2, 2026. TAKE FURTHER NOTICE, those property owners who do not receive their tax bill the first week in January should notify the Receiver of Taxes at (607) 533-4142, as they will still be responsible (Real Property Tax Law, §922).
