PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that on January 14, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. the Zoning Board of Adjustment of the Township of Neptune will hold a hearing on the application of Abbas Osman Family Trust. The hearing will be held at the Municipal Complex, Second Floor, 25 Neptune Boulevard, Neptune, New Jersey. The premises which are the subject of this application are located 216 Highway 35, Neptune, New Jersey. Said premises are also known as Block 613, Lot 8.
The applicant is seeking an Appeal of a zoning denial issued by the Zoning Officer for property known as 216 Highway 35 Neptune, Block 613, Lot 8. The applicant seeks to establish that the use of the property for a Collaborative Support Program is a permitted use in the B-1 zone. The applicant is proposing a not-for-profit agency in the existing building to provide services promoting responsibility and awareness through wellness centers, support and referral services for housing, human rights, advocacy and educational programs for which this location and property is well suited.
The applicant also intends to request at the hearing such density, use, bulk variance and/or waivers of design standards and/or submission requirements as are required to use the premises in the manner indicated in the application materials, and any other variances or waivers that the Board may require.
The application for development and all supporting maps, site plans and documents are on file in the office of the Department of Planning and Zoning and are available for public inspection, during normal business hours Township of Neptune, 25 Neptune Blvd., Neptune, New Jersey. Any interested party may appear at the aforesaid hearing, either in person, or by their attorney, and be given an opportunity to be heard with respect to the aforesaid application.
